Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) was formed in 2following the merger of Central Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM). With the inclusion of North Manchester General Hospital from the 1st April 2021, our organisation provides a single hospital service across the City of Manchester, where these changes will make a real difference to the health outcomes and quality of life for the communities we serve. THE POST
We are seeking to appoint a Consultant Histopathologist to join our experienced and highly motivated team at MFT. This post will be primarily based at the Oxford Road Campus but in the future there may be an expectation to support work cross sites as services are being harmonised. This 10 PA post will join the histopathology reporting team with a predominant contribution to the skin pathology sub-specialist service with also contribution to Head and Neck and Medical Renal Pathology sub-specialist services. Contribution to each subspeciality will be discussed with the successful appointee based on expertise and service requirements
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will join a team of 22 other full and part time Consultants in the Adult Histopathology Department at ORC who provide a reporting service for a variety of specialities including Gynaecological, Gastrointestinal, Dermatopathology, Head and Neck, Ophthalmic and Urology.
