To assist in the day to day administration of the Trusts Systems managed by the Digital Solutions and Service Delivery Department, including delivery of user training for all levels of staff.

To assist in the day-to-day administration of the Trusts Systems managed by the Digital Department, including delivery of user training for all levels of staff.To support and assist in the provision of standard and ad-hoc information as required.

  • Provide day to day administration of the Trusts acute systems managed by the Digital Department.
  • Maintenance of core data tables to ensure the availability of up to date and timely data items within systems.
  • Ensure all new system users receive adequate training and have appropriate system access levels to enable them to fulfil their role. Make certain all users complete and sign user access agreement documentation.
  • To assist in the preparation of documentation and training guides.
  • Act as first line support for system users providing advice and guidance, resolving software problems where possible.
  • Assist in the production of a wide range of timely, verified information to meet ad-hoc requirements.
  • To ensure scheduled and unscheduled work is coordinated effectively to completion within time scale.
  • Ensure through appropriate validation and audit procedures that information produced is based on accurate, timely and comprehensive data collection.
  • Act upon own initiative with regards to issues/problems/trends relating to the day-to-day administration of the systems.
  • Assist with the ongoing specification and implementation of systems within the Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a System Support Assistant role within the Digital Services Systems Team.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who wants to assist in the maintenance, development and implementation of the Trusts core clinical systems.

The post holder will support the Systems team on the day to day maintenance and administration of the Trusts Patient Administration System, including delivery of user training.

You must be of a calm disposition with excellent negotiating and communication skills, be a team player, be able to use initiative and work to tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will be educated to a GCSE level or have the equivalent experience and have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows packages and an understanding of the Core Trust Systems.

A flexible approach to working arrangements is essential to meet service needs, which may include working evenings, early mornings and weekend if the project requires.
