Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Service Manager for the Bay Acute and Urgent Care Service line, covering the Bay Locality with potential work locations in Lancaster, Kendal, or Barrow in Furness. The role involves operational management of acute and urgent care services, ensuring adherence to quality and performance targets while monitoring patient pathways. The Service Manager will lead and develop teams to provide high-quality care, focusing on patient flow and implementing changes across the Bay. Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit a full time Service Manager for the Bay Acute and Urgent Care Service line. The successful candidate would be expected to cover the Bay Locality with the option of being based in Lancaster, Kendal or Barrow in Furness. The Bay is a great place to work and has an embedded supportive team approach to delivering mental health services to the population.

The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of acute and urgent care services within the Bay. They will ensure that service lines deliver patient pathways that meet all quality and operational performance targets and that these are monitored and tracked. The post holder will lead, develop and manage teams within their portfolio to ensure that the services provide high quality care to service users. There will be a strong focus on patient flow. They will be required to lead on change across the Bay

The post holder will work closely with a wide range of internal colleagues as well as external stakeholders.
