Barnsley NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to work as a Consultant in Oral Surgery. The post-holder will work with the current OMFS team at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful post holder to develop a close working relationship across Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgery and Oral Surgery within and out with the Trust to deliver effective care for the population of Barnsley.
This is a full-time post, working weekday standard day hours providing 10 Programmed Activities (PAs), but the Trust is happy to consider part time, flexible working arrangements and / or extended days to deliver a desirable work life balance, support professional goals and personal development and job plans will be adjusted accordingly, and by negotiation with appointees.

Duties and Responsibilities
General Oral Surgery clinics
General Anaesthetic theatre working
To actively contribute to the development of OMFS services
To provide advice to dental and medical practitioners working in the primary care sector
Local Anaesthesia treatment including sedation and the development of this service
Clinical triage
Patient administration
SPA (1.5 PAs)
Audit and Research opportunities
Contribution to/attendance at monthly clinical governance meetings
This post holder will not be required to participate in an on-call rota
