The Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Nursing Associate to join the Aylesbury Adult Community Healthcare Team. This role involves providing high-standard nursing care in the community, supporting community nurses with various tasks including holistic patient assessments, medication administration, wound care, and end-of-life care. The position requires effective communication and documentation skills, alongside the ability to monitor patient conditions and escalate concerns to registered nurses when necessary.

Newly qualified nursing associates will receive training through a preceptorship program and an extensive orientation, with ongoing support from advanced community practitioners. The role emphasises compassionate and effective care delivery, collaboration with families and carers, and the completion of necessary documentation for patient discharge and transfer.
