Band 6: £37,338 to £44,962 a year Based on full time hours  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

Adult Mental Health: Have a multi-disciplinary approach to support patients with enduring mental illness at home.

Are you an Occupational therapist wanting to work within Mid Hampshire? The division is passionate to provide patient centred care and rehabilitation within the population's own environment. Teams are responsive, well led and caring providing guidance to patients, relatives, carers and staff.

Calling for inspirational band 6's (development Band 6 opportunity) to apply to either:

UCR's: Responds to urgent case management and recovery, self-management, and adoption of a coproduced approach with patients. This role delivers care to people at risk of hospital admission in their own homes. The service runs all week, all year.

Adult Mental Health: Have a multi-disciplinary approach to support patients with enduring mental illness at home. The occupational therapist will support the service to optimise admission into the pathway exploring ability to function. This may include assessment, goal focused work, and care co-ordination.

Community Therapy Teams: A team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and support staff, providing domiciliary rehabilitation to the population. The Occupational Therapists work with patients in their own environment with a functional focus to improve their quality of life.

Within all teams you will have the opportunity to develop clinical, leadership and communication skills supported by well-established multi-disciplinary teams. You will have the chance to be innovative and creative, part of service development and student education.

Mental Health Teams:

To provide occupational therapy interventions for referred clients using evidence based, client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. This could include group work (supporting shared care/duty) and 1:1 intervention.

Physical Health Teams:

To provide advanced clinical and professional Occupational Therapy to the Community Therapy Team, and to provide support to the Integrated Community Care team leaders in ensuring that the team contributes to the implementation of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare Clinical Governance Strategies.
