We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic pharmacy technician to join our great pharmacy team of two prescribing pharmacists, two pharmacy technicians and three prescription clerks. This position would suit a Pharmacy Technician currently in a more junior role who is looking to develop their career with a move into Primary Care. The practice already has a well established pharmacy team who would be able to help develop your skills and offer support and guidance which will enable the right candidate to progress both personally and professionally. The practice will also ensure you complete a primary care induction training package to ensure knowledge increase and confidence whilst moving into this role.
The work will initially be administrative based with remote patient contact.
However, within time, and after undertaking the appropriate training, there may be an opportunity to develop this role to become more patient facing depending on the interests of the post holder. The practice are keen to encourage personal skill sets and goals to encourage job satisfaction.
Although this is a practice role you will get the opportunity to work with the wider pharmacy team within West of Waverley Primary Care Network and Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board, with the opportunity to attend monthly meetings.
