The NELFT Children's Feeding and Dietetic service is looking for a part-time, experienced dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist to join their feeding team in Wickford, Essex. This role involves supporting children aged 0-19 with physical feeding difficulties, working collaboratively with a diverse team that includes Dietitians and Occupational Therapists. The position offers flexible and remote working options and focuses on assessing swallowing function, developing safe eating and drinking skills, and managing risks associated with feeding. While preference is for candidates with experience in both over and under one competencies, training will be provided to develop skills in the latter for the right applicant.

The service supports families in various settings, including homes, schools, and community clinics, within the Mid and South Essex area, and emphasises a community-based approach. Strong connections with local and tertiary teams facilitate comprehensive care and the management of complex needs.
