To Assist the Head of Service to develop and deliver a professional, quality, cost effective service to provide and maintain a clean, safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.

South Tyneside District Hospital is looking to recruit a Domestic Team Leader who will be required to work across South Tyneside. From time to time cover will also be required, St Benedicts Hospice in Sunderland, Clarendon (Hebburn) & Palmer Hospital (Jarrow)

A flexible approach to work and work routine is essential as you will be expected to cover several different areas possibly in the same day. Your work main work base will be South Tyneside, this is where you will spend most of your working hours, however as a Domestic Team Leader you will be expected to visit Clarendon (Hebburn) & Palmer Hospital (Jarrow) on occasion some other locations.

To co-ordinate, supervise the domestic staff working within the Trust, and to provide support to the Head of Service.
