Our Senior Healthcare Assistants are responsible for monitoring and maintaining our patients hygiene, nutrition and vitals as well as supporting with mobility and ensuring comfort of our patients facing End-of-Life.

Senior Healthcare Assistant
has never been as exciting!
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will be a member of the Multidisciplinary team providing high standards of evidence-based person-centred care for patients at UHP, including assessing and understanding the personal care and support needs of patients and those important to them, planning and providing person-centred care based on the individual need.
This role will require you to be kind, caring and empathetic as you will work with the person and those closest to them to ensure the voice, needs and views of the person being cared for are heard in a meaningful way, recognising and protecting vulnerable adults and children.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, your duties will include monitoring and assisting in maintain patients skin integrity and personal hygiene, conducting nutrition assessments, attending to comfort needs to assist with rest/sleep, provide support with mobility, monitor vitals and overall promote and maintain a clean and tidy care environment.
