The South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Administration Assistants to join their Cardiology Department, with one position offering 37.5 hours and another 25 hours per week. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring outstanding service for patients, supporting both clinical and secretarial teams. Key responsibilities include handling telephone and email queries, managing patient bookings, and performing various administrative tasks such as audio typing and data entry.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, alongside proven experience in audio typing and a busy office environment. Essential qualifications include Level 2 numeracy and literacy skills, with an audio typing test to be conducted during the interview. While primarily based in Sunderland, flexibility to cover other areas within the Sunderland and South Tyneside sites to meet service needs is expected.
