Role specific As a UK registered nurse the Inpatient Services Manager has the additional responsibilities: To provide clinical and operational leadership and management for the in-patient unit, ensuring team members are of a high quality and put patients and their families at the centre of everything we do. Under the guidance of the Chief Nurse, set up new services, implement necessary changes and take actions in response to feedback. To take accountability for delivering care with agility through strong partnership with other clinical leaders . Overall oversight for all aspects of people management including managing complex employee casework. To ensure clinical standards are delivered to CQC expectations and research is undertaken to ensure we are always delivering best practice. To lead on safeguarding, risk management and regulatory compliance. To deputise in the absence of the Chief Nurse and hold responsibility for elements of the registered manager role. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and IT systems used for rostering, incident reporting and electronic record keeping. To contribute to the clinical on call rota. Proven track record in management with expertise in clinical leadership.
