The Downham Family Medical Practice in Bromley is seeking a full-time Deputy Practice Manager to support their busy GP operations across two sites, Burnt Ash Surgery and Downham Family Medical Practice. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, previous experience in a similar position, and a solid understanding of practice finances, IT systems, HR protocols, and effective communication. The Deputy Practice Manager will collaborate closely with the Practice Manager and Operations Leads to oversee the operational aspects of the practice, including appointment management, compliance with health and safety regulations, human resources, trainee management, and IT coordination.

Key responsibilities encompass managing reception and administration staff, overseeing clinical and administrative rotas, handling complaints, and ensuring the practice meets CQC requirements. Additionally, the Deputy Practice Manager will take part in financial oversight and reporting, while fostering a professional environment that prioritizes patient confidentiality, health and safety, and staff development.
