Calderdale Health Visiting service are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Health Visitor to join their service based at Horsfall House in Halifax, and the opportunity to work flexibly within the community. Health Visitors make a real difference to children, families and communities and play a fundamental role in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, promoting child development, safeguarding children, preventing social exclusion and deprivation, and tackling important public health issues. As a health visitor you will be responsible for a caseload of children and families requiring various levels of intervention. You will be responsible for providing a quality service to these clients including delivering Getting Ready for Baby Sessions alongside Family Hubs.
We are looking for a Health Visitor who embraces our Locala vision and values. Part- time hours can be negotiated to accommodate the successful candidates needs and the needs of the service.
Please note- Health Visitors applying for the role must have a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) qualificationto be considered for the position.
