Woodside Medical Practice in Telford is seeking an enthusiastic and confident Medical Administrator to join their non-clinical team. The role involves a variety of business administration tasks such as handling telephone inquiries, booking patient appointments, registering patients, and providing support at the front desk. While experience in General Practice is preferred, it is not essential as training will be offered to the right candidate. Strong IT skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this demanding position.

The role is full-time, requiring the candidate to work five days a week from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, including two nights a week on a rota basis for extended access. The successful applicant will also need to contribute to team coverage for sickness and holiday leave, with a flexible approach to working hours. Additional duties may include document processing, clinical coding, data entry, and patient referrals. A minimum wage based on age will be offered, and the candidate will be required to complete a six-month probationary period and will have access to an NHS pension.
