The Arts Curator (Participation Programmes) at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a maternity cover position focused on managing and developing a participatory arts program aimed at enhancing the hospital experience for staff, patients, and families. The role requires a passionate self-starter with experience in managing arts projects and a commitment to community engagement and health wellbeing.

Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the delivery and evaluation of various arts participation activities (e.g., live music, bedside arts, dance, and theater).
- Collaborating with artists, community groups, and diverse organisations.
- Ensuring compliance with fundraising and charity regulations.
- Supporting fundraising opportunities through arts initiatives.
- Representing the charity in both internal and external forums.
- Participating in key committees and collaborating with the charity's finance and communications teams.

The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, alongside specialist knowledge in multi-disciplinary arts practice. The position is full-time, 37 hours and 30 minutes per week, with the opportunity for flexible working arrangements.
