Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join their supportive cross-site team in Winchester and Basingstoke. The role offers the opportunity to rotate between sites and work within various specialties, including Intensive Care, General Surgery, Women's Health, Cardiology, General Medicine, and Elderly Care, across their extensive 800-bed facilities. The position also provides a pathway for career development, allowing discussions for developmental roles from Band 5 to Band 6 during the interview process.

As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, responsibilities include leading service improvement projects, supervising junior staff, and teaching therapy staff and students from partner universities. The role encourages close collaboration with specialist multidisciplinary teams to enhance overall management and leadership skills. The Trust is open to flexible working arrangements and invites potential candidates for informal visits to meet the team and understand the work environment better.

We have an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist to join our supportive and friendly cross site HHFT team. We are looking for motivated, driven individuals to join our team of Band 6 physiotherapists, to contribute to our ever- improving service.

We are able to combine our current Band 6 rotational posts at Winchester and Basingstoke so you can rotate across both sites if desired. Within the acute teams at RHCH and BNHH we cover over 800 beds and provide Band 6 rotations in the following specialities:

Intensive Care, General Surgery
Women's Health and Cardiology
General Medicine (Respiratory/ Gastro/ Endocrine)
Front Door (Acute Assessment Unit/ Emergency Department)
Elderly Care

If a developmental Band 5 to Band 6 post would be more suitable, this can be discussion prior to, or at interview.

As a Band 6 Physiotherapist at HHFT you can expect to receive regular and robust supervision, to lead on service improvement projects, to supervise more junior staff and to provide clinical support and guidance to students from our partner Universities. Other responsibilities include participation in teaching for therapy staff and the wider MDT, with opportunities to facilitate simulation training; opportunities to work closely with specialist MDT's and develop overall management and leadership skills.
