The role of an 8A Psychological Therapist (Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist/Systemic Psychotherapist) within the CAMHS North multidisciplinary team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust presents an exciting opportunity to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families. The therapist will provide high-quality assessment, treatment, and consultation services tailored to meet the needs of diverse families, while undertaking complex cases in alignment with the principles of CAPA and CYP-IAPT. The position is characterized by a strong emphasis on creativity, innovation, and inclusion, supported by an established induction process and a commitment to professional development.

In addition to managing a caseload and conducting risk assessments, the therapist will take on a leadership role within the team, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care among multidisciplinary colleagues. The post-holder will also supervise trainees and junior staff, contribute to service development through research and evaluation, and adhere to the Trust's policies and guidelines.
