The role of Remote Clinical Pharmacist IP at The Pharmacist Network in Workington involves providing clinical support within General Practices in the North East London area. This position offers 10 hours of work per week, split into 5 hours on Wednesdays and Fridays. The successful candidate will engage in an 18-month national training program focused on independent prescribing, supported by a network of fellow pharmacists. Responsibilities include resolving medication-related issues, conducting structured medication reviews, enhancing patient outcomes, and offering clinical leadership on medicines optimisation.

Candidates should ideally have previous primary care experience and familiarity with EMIS or System 1, although training will be provided. Participation in the CPPE Pathway is desirable. The Pharmacist Network emphasises a collaborative culture aimed at delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services and improving healthcare access and quality for patients.
