Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking permanent Health Play Specialists to join the Therapeutic and Specialised Play Service at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and associated facilities. Candidates must hold a Foundation Degree in Healthcare Play Specialism or a Level 4 qualification, along with current registration with the Health Play Specialist Education Trust, though students due to qualify by 2025 may also apply. The role involves enhancing patient care by utilizing techniques such as procedural preparation and developmental play, working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide a positive hospital experience for children and young patients.
