Modality Mid Sussex Division has a full-time vacancy for a GP Assistant, the postholder will be a GP Assistant and will provide a support role, carrying out administrative tasks, combined in some areas with basic clinical duties working at Crawley Down Health Centre.They help to support GPs and contribute to the smooth running of appointments, improving patients experience in the surgery. We are seeking dedicated postholders to join our team who can display CARE values: Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence

The role is an all-rounded, hands-on clinical role; the postholder main focus of the role is on supporting General Practitioners in their day-to-day management of patients, specifically aimed at reducing the administrative burden, making best use of consultation time and supporting access to appointments. The postholder will work in collaboration with the PCN to deliver innovative ways of working to meet the strategic aims of the PCN.

The role is not a regular 9am-5pm job and is not a back-office advisory and support role; the job requires innovation, flexibility and commitment and the postholder will be required to work resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks are completed.
