Band 4: £26,530 to £29,114 a year per annum pro rata  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the Cancer Services Division as a Cancer Pathway Navigator for 37.5 hours per week.

We are looking for an individual who will be highly motivated, organised and self-sufficient, with the ability to manage their own workload and be flexible and adaptable to fulfil the duties within the role. The individual must also have the ability to work well under pressure, enjoy analysing data and performing general admin duties, and have the desire to provide a first class service for patients and the clinical teams.

Previous experience of working within a Healthcare environment is desirable but not essential.

The purpose of this role is to provide support in the improvement of the pathway for patients referred in for suspected cancer , working on your own initiative using knowledge, skills and experience to manage and prioritise workload independently in accordance with operational standards and protocols.

A large part of the role is providing administration and coordination support to Consultants, Cancer Nurse Specialists and other staff involved in the cancer pathway.
