The Band 6 Physiotherapist position at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust offers an opportunity to work in Acute Medicine at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital. This permanent, full-time role focuses on providing rehabilitation to a diverse patient population, including individuals with frailty, respiratory issues, falls, diabetes, and Parkinson's disease. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, engaging in patient care aimed at promoting independence, preventing deconditioning, and facilitating timely discharges. Strong communication, prioritisation, and time management skills are essential, along with established experience in respiratory physiotherapy.

In this role, the physiotherapist will carry a clinical caseload, collaborate closely with patients and their families, and support other team members while also offering supervision to students. The Trust emphasises continuous professional development, offering regular supervision and involvement in service improvement initiatives. Flexibility is required as the service operates seven days a week, and the position calls for a team player who thrives in an acute clinical environment.
