The Band 7 Therapies Pre-registration Education Lead position at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust involves overseeing the coordination and delivery of high-quality education for pre-registration students in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, and Speech and Language Therapy. The successful candidate, an HCPC registered AHP with relevant NHS experience, will manage the operational aspects of student placements, ensure positive learning experiences, and liaise with Higher Education Institutions.

In addition to supporting the pre-registration workforce, the role requires strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills to facilitate partnerships with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders. The post holder will also be responsible for maximizing placement opportunities, adhering to key performance indicators, and developing processes aligned with clinical placement directives. The role emphasises independent work, prioritisation, and the ability to provide support for clinical educators within the therapies department.
