The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Midwife for Induction of Labour and Planned Caesarean Sections, a pivotal role aimed at coordinating care and ensuring patient safety within the maternity services. The position involves leading the management of inductions and planned caesarean sections, facilitating workshops for women and their families, and maintaining effective communication across multidisciplinary teams. The post holder will operate clinically for 50% of their time, supporting daily procedures and optimizing patient flow while fostering a positive safety culture.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to navigate complex situations and support both patients and staff effectively. Responsibilities will also include quality improvement initiatives, training of student midwives, and compliance with Trust and national guidelines to enhance service delivery.
