An opportunity has arisen in the Working Age Adults, West Northumberland Community Treatment Team for an EMDR Therapist to join the team for a 12-month fixed term, part-time contract.
The post is based at the Fairnington Centre in Hexham, which is a scenic market town in Tynedale. The team seeks to provide high quality, trauma informed, compassionate care that promotes recovery and wellbeing, and EMDR is a highly valued intervention in the team.
You will be a valuable member of the multi-disciplinary team, working as an EMDR therapist offering assessment and treatment. As such this role offers the exciting opportunity to focus on and specialise in the provision of EMDR.

The West Northumberland Community Treatment Team is a friendly, supportive multi-disciplinary team based in Hexham, comprising community psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, psychological professionals, pharmacists, nurse prescribers, along with other secondary care mental health clinicians. There are two other EMDR practitioners within the Hexham team and opportunities to join Trustwide or local supervision groups.
