CASELOAD EATING DISORDER MENTAL HEALTH MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS
The Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Clinical Associate in Psychology (CAP) for its Community Adult Eating Disorder Service in Pitsea. This role, requiring an 18-month specific apprenticeship qualification, involves working within a multidisciplinary team of Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, and other psychological practitioners, delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions to adults, particularly those with eating disorders. Applicants should ideally have experience in community mental health settings and a passion for clinical and research skill development.

As a Band 6 CAP, the successful candidate will practice autonomously under a registered psychologist's supervision, managing a caseload, facilitating group therapy, and contributing to care plans. The role emphasises cooperation within the MDT, service evaluation, and a commitment to enhancing psychological wellbeing in diverse populations. The position supports NHS goals to expand psychological services and is integral to the delivery of compassionate care within the Community Adult Eating Disorder Service.
