This role offers an opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join the paediatrics business unit as General Manager.
You will lead and inspire our teams to provide high quality care across all of our services on both acute sites and community sites.
This is a senior operational role with a wide-ranging portfolio across urgent and planned care with a strong emphasis on improvement and efficiency.
Successful candidates will need to have demonstrable senior leadership experience in the acute sector with a proven ability to collaborate with, motivate and lead clinical and non-clinical teamsin the achievement of key performance indicators and will possess excellent communication skills with a proven track record of delivery in a complex environment.
Informal visit / conversations are welcomed.
The General Manager will be responsible for supporting the Divisional Director in directing, guiding, and leading the business unit management team in the overall management of the business unit and for developing strategic plans and performance management frameworks to ensure delivery of all key activity and financial targets.
A key dimension will be to support the Divisional Director in the engagement of clinical managers in the complex management agenda and the development of capacity and capability to deliver both local and national priorities working collaboratively with system partners.
