The Principal Occupational Therapist role at Bridgend within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is an exciting leadership position designated for a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist. This position involves managing and developing the Physical Occupational Therapy Service at Princess of Wales Hospital, working collaboratively with health and social care colleagues to ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery. The successful candidate will take on both clinical and managerial responsibilities, providing evidence-based, client-centered care to adults with complex needs, while also overseeing a small caseload.

In addition to direct patient care, the role encompasses staff training and the co-design of innovative services to meet growing demands in healthcare. The ideal candidate will exhibit flexibility and creativity in their approach, with responsibilities including service development, resource management, and representation of the Occupational Therapy service in broader community and national forums. Proficiency in Welsh is desirable, but applicants who speak either Welsh or English are encouraged to apply.
