The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced nurses or practitioners with a strong interest in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) crisis intervention to join the Camden Adolescent Intensive Support Service (CAISS). This role involves working with young individuals aged 12-18 in Camden who are experiencing significant mental health crises, at risk of Tier 4 admissions, or having difficulty engaging with other services. The CAISS team employs a range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, to provide flexible and holistic support tailored to the complex needs of each young person.

The position requires close collaboration with other CAMHS teams and community resources to facilitate long-term treatment and support systems for young people in crisis. Candidates must possess the right to work in the UK and should be prepared to engage actively with the diverse challenges faced by these adolescents and their families.
