The role of Specialist Podiatrist MSK Biomechanics at Central London Community Health Trust involves delivering innovative care models to enhance patient experiences in the diverse Brent community. As part of a dynamic team, the podiatrist will provide specialist clinical care, integrating biomechanics into service delivery while undertaking some operational management responsibilities in support of the Clinical Team Lead. The position emphasises professional leadership, ensuring patient-centered care and maintaining high clinical standards.

Additionally, the specialist will act as a key educator within the team, guiding colleagues and junior staff on biomechanical and musculoskeletal interventions. The role requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and demonstrate clinical practice effectively. The successful candidate will join a supportive and dedicated team in a well-established Clinical Service Unit, contributing to collaborative relationships with local health authorities.

In this role you will be at the forefront of delivering new models of care through transformation that meets the needs of our community, and will be able to contribute to the creation of what that looks like as well as positively impacting and enhancing the experiences of our patients in the diverse community of Brent.

You will provide day-to-day specialist clinical care in a supported environment and within a dynamic team, to a diverse group of patients. You will work to embed biomechanics within the service across our caseloads and carry some operational management duties supporting the Clinical Team Lead.

Providing day-to-day professional leadership, you will ensure the needs of patients are placed at the centre of care delivery while providing assurance that standards of clinical care within a designated area is of the highest standard attainable.

You will need to demonstrate effective leadership skills alongside excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to teach and inspire colleagues through active demonstration of clinical practice and leadership.
