As a Maintenance Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create the safe and attractive surroundings that enable the organisation to provide quality care and support to their residents. The role involves a range of maintenance tasks to ensure the building and grounds are well-maintained at all times.
The Maintenance Assistant will undertake a variety of tasks to keep the care home building and grounds in excellent condition. This includes performing general property maintenance, repairs, and ensuring the premises are clean and presentable. The role requires some prior experience in property maintenance, as well as a patient, caring nature and a genuine interest in supporting the residents.
