The position of "Band 8c Consultant Psychologist / Psychotherapist" with Devon Partnership NHS Trust in Exeter involves leading psychological services within the Adult Mental Health (AMH) Directorate, focusing on recovery-oriented and evidence-based interventions for individuals aged 18 to 65. The role is integral to the Senior Leadership Team, providing clinical and professional leadership for psychological practices, guiding policy development, and overseeing service delivery across Acute and Community Care.

Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialist assessments, psychological therapies, and support within multidisciplinary teams.
- Managing a small clinical caseload of complex cases.
- Leading strategic developments in psychological practice and ensuring care is evidence-based and outcome-focused.
- Facilitating staff development through teaching, research, and maintaining professional standards.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to foster a compassionate leadership culture and improve care delivery across integrated mental health services.

The consultant will also ensure that leadership practices support the Psychological Professions workforce, promoting high-quality clinical supervision and adherence to professional standards.
