Applications are invited for a Registrar Doctor post on the Breast Unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital. This post has been established to support research within the Breast Unit and will be available from January 2025 (flexible according to candidate's availability) for a period of 24 months.
The post-holder will be part of the breast medical oncology team at the Sutton branch of the Royal Marsden and will work alongside the clinical team to conduct clinical research in cancer in older patients. This may include validation of a tool to predict toxicity from systemic anti-cancer therapy in older patients, etc. The exact projects will be decided in conjunction with the successful candidate according to their interests.

The post holder will be expected to register for a higher degree (MD) at the Institute of Cancer Research.
The successful candidate will have completed general medical training including MRCP or acceptable equivalent and preferably have some experience of oncology at a specialist registrar or clinical fellow level. Previous experience of breast cancer and clinical cancer research is also highly desirable.
