ANTICOAGULATION NHS
The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking an Anticoagulation Practitioner to join their team in Macclesfield, responsible for delivering high-quality anticoagulation monitoring services both at the hospital and in community clinics across Cheshire. This role is suitable for registered healthcare professionals, including Biomedical Scientists and Registered Nurses, and will not involve laboratory work. Key responsibilities include conducting INR measurements, providing warfarin dosing advice using the DAWN AC software, managing time effectively under pressure, and supervising non-registered Anticoagulation Support Workers.

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, compassionate, and adaptable, with a commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and maintaining professional competence. This position will primarily be based at Macclesfield Hospital but will require regular work at community clinics and occasional coverage at Leighton Hospital.
