The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Data Science Analyst to join the Healthcare Evaluation Data (HED) team within the Health Informatics Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, support, and maintenance of the HED online analytics platform. This role involves developing bespoke analytical reports, responding to technical queries, and creating standardized healthcare indicators to empower end-users across the NHS with data-driven insights.

Applicants should possess strong technical skills in MS SQL Server and Tibco Spotfire, and be comfortable working with national datasets to produce healthcare benchmarking indicators. The position offers an opportunity for professional development within a supportive team environment and aims to ensure that the Trust meets both national and local requirements for HED Systems. The role is based at Yardley Court in Edgbaston, with options for remote working. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a technical competency test followed by a full interview.
