Band 7: £46,840 to £53,602 a year per annum  PERMANENT 

We are offering an exciting opportunity for Advanced Practitioner -Breast to join our team in a forward thinking radiotherapy department at Velindre Cancer Centre.

Face to Face interviews only

Managing and actively participating in the Radiographer led consent clinics for patients, including the clinical assessment of patient's fitness for treatment.

Clinical mark up and Non-Medical Outlining (NMO) of a relevant site.

Plan Authorisation and Plan Prescribing of a relevant site.

Providing information, support and point of contact throughout the pathway.

The post holder shall contribute to enhancing service delivery and service development for a specified tumour site (as per the job plan) by implementing best and evidence based practice across their specific area of the Breast radiotherapy pathway.

They shall ensure that the patient pathway is managed efficiently to ensure continuity of care, effective use of resources and to ensure that all cancer targets both locally and nationally are achieved.

To be an effective team player in the tumour specific multi-disciplinary team and to be involved in the total care of patients undergoing Radiotherapy treatment.

To provide specialist radiotherapy knowledge to the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and Network as required.

Provide information and support to relatives and carers instrumental in the patient's on-going care and holistic well-being.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
