Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a permanent full-time Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a) to join their core CAMHS team in East Riding. The multidisciplinary team addresses various issues, such as anxiety, low mood, self-harm, and trauma, and includes a range of professionals like clinical psychologists, family therapists, and specialist nurses. The role involves providing high-quality clinical psychology services, offering supervision to less experienced staff, and advancing trauma-informed practices within the team. The successful candidate will also contribute to service development and engage in research and audits while ensuring evidence-based interventions.

The position emphasises ongoing professional training, enhancing therapeutic and supervisory skills, and promoting participation from young people and families in service improvement. The psychologist will play a key role in case formulation, consultation, and collaboration across multiple teams, ensuring quality care throughout the service. Work hours will typically be from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, adapting to meet service needs.
