The role of "LDP - Oncology, Haematology, Palliative Care and Technical Services" at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust involves serving as the designated Haematology/Oncology pharmacist for the Chelsea site during a one-year fixed-term maternity cover. The position includes overseeing pharmacy services for the Cancer Services and Palliative Care teams, managing the Pharmacy Technical Services Unit, and ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care for oncology, haematology, and palliative care inpatients and day cases. Responsibilities also encompass supervising the compounding of cytotoxic chemotherapy and leading the management within the technical services section, which produces over 3,500 products annually.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise in oncology and haematology, excellent management skills, and a commitment to teaching and training. The role requires effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary cancer team and may involve occasional work at the West Middlesex site.
