Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Health Visitors to join their County Durham 0-25 Team in various locations including Ferryhill, Newton Aycliffe, and Bishop Auckland. The roles offer both full and part-time opportunities and require applicants to be registered SCPHN Health Visitors. The Trust provides comprehensive induction training, a two-year Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified nurses, and continuous professional development through leadership programs and support for revalidation.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, effective delegation skills, and a proactive approach to risk management. A full UK driving license and personal transport are essential for meeting the demands of the service. Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is the largest provider of children's public health nursing services in the North East of England. We are currently recruiting Health Visitors to the County Durham 0-25 Team. The roles are in several bases in South Durham, including Newton Aycliffe, Ferryhill and Bishop Auckland. Full and part time hours are available.
