The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Band 6 Home Birth Midwives to join their home birth team in Uxbridge. The role focuses on providing continuity of care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods, involving tasks such as patient bookings, follow-ups, on-call support for home births, and postnatal care either at home or in a clinic. Candidates are expected to partake in an on-call rota and be drivers, showcasing a commitment to offering quality care to local women and families.

In this position, midwives will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized, evidence-based care, addressing the medical, psychological, and social needs of women during pregnancy and childbirth. The role emphasises emotional and psychological support while promoting safe, respectful birth experiences tailored to women’s preferences in various settings, whether at home or in a hospital environment.
