The Infection Prevention Lead Nurse at Nuffield Health's Chichester Hospital plays a crucial role in managing and implementing effective infection prevention and control (IPC) services. This part-time position (15 hours per week) involves overseeing the surveillance, management, and reporting of healthcare-associated infections, auditing clinical practices, controlling outbreaks, and training staff on IPC policies and strategies. The Lead Nurse will also lead investigations, coordinate IPC meetings, and work closely with the Microbiologist to ensure high standards in patient care while demonstrating expert clinical practice.
