The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a passionate Gynaecology Oncology Navigator to join their team at the Royal Derby Hospital, with some opportunities for cross-site work. This role involves working closely with Clinical Nurse Specialists and a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient pathways in women’s health and cancer services. The Navigator will serve as a primary point of contact for patients and medical staff, addressing inquiries with professionalism and care, while performing administrative tasks such as triaging calls, coordinating scans and results, and managing a support group for Gynaecology cancer patients, known as 'One Voice'.

The position demands strong communication skills, the ability to exercise sound judgment in problem-solving, and a compassionate approach to patient care. The Navigator will assist in conducting electronic Holistic Needs Assessments and participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings, ensuring effective management of patient needs and facilitating referrals to relevant support services.
