The East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and dynamic Band 6 Nurse to join the Ampthill Community Nursing team in Mid Bedfordshire. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Specialist Practitioner in District Nursing, committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in home settings. This role involves leading a team of healthcare workers, providing health education, and supporting staff development through mentorship and training. The successful nurse will focus on improving patient outcomes, participate in service planning, and manage resources effectively, with flexible working hours that include shifts during evenings and weekends.

In this position, the nurse will play a key role in the Urgent Care Response and Virtual Wards initiatives while fostering collaborative relationships with various stakeholders. Travel across Bedfordshire is required, and access to a car is essential. The position offers opportunities for professional development, including support toward achieving the Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing (SPQDN) if not already held.
