The Occupational Therapy Assistant role at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust involves supporting children aged 0-19 years in reaching their potential through therapy interventions in various settings such as homes, pre-schools, schools, and community clinics. The position requires candidates to possess an NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or childcare, as well as excellent communication skills and a driving licence. Under the supervision of occupational therapists, the assistant will organize and deliver therapy activities according to intervention plans, while also benefiting from learning and development opportunities and regular supervision.

This role is part of a collaborative team that includes physiotherapists, podiatrists, and speech and language therapists, all working together to assist children facing developmental challenges.
