The Advanced Radiographer Practitioner (XR07) role at Leeds Teaching Hospitals is a permanent, part-time position focused on mammography within the Symptomatic Breast Imaging Service at St. James's University Hospital. The position requires the practitioner to provide a comprehensive one-stop service, including triple assessments for symptomatic patients and advanced interventional procedures like biopsies and wire localisation. The candidate should possess postgraduate qualifications in mammography, a minimum of two years' specialty experience, and demonstrate unsupervised clinical expertise, aiming to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include leading service development, ensuring quality protocols, and providing education and support for junior staff. The role requires effective communication with patients and staff, troubleshooting imaging equipment issues, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
