NHS Professionals Limited is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the team at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, part of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The role involves participating in the dispensing of medications at both ward and dispensary levels, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The candidate must hold an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification and contribute to the development of the ward-based Medicines Optimisation Technician (MOT) service, ensuring a high-quality, patient-centered pharmacy service that is also cost-effective.

The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for various duties, including the delivery and documentation of financial savings from appropriate medicine supply, assisting in writing and implementing SOPs, and promoting a culture of learning within the team. Additionally, the role requires effective communication with healthcare professionals to enhance discharge planning and service coordination, while strictly following all legal and departmental policies and procedures.
