University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Speech and Language Therapist for their stroke team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. The role is developmental, requiring the candidate to begin at Band 5 and work towards Band 6 criteria within 18 months, including achieving dysphagia competencies within 6-9 months. The position involves assessing and managing patients with dysphagia and communication disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in service development projects.
