We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated Registered Nurse that will see in excess of 30 patients passing through each day. A particular emphasis on faster initial assessment and decreased overall length of stay.
You will work closely with our experienced and friendly consultant team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the medical emergency patient's care, providing first line treatment. Having your own cohort of patients and working closely with the multidisciplinary team you be able to treat patients promptly, effectively and efficiently allowing for an excellent patient experience.
The dependency of patients and service users along with their presenting clinical conditions varies daily within medical SDEC, and with it the requirements of their nursing needs. Staff nurses within medical SDEC are required to be dynamic and flexible in accordance with the varying needs of the patients within the department. The staff nurse is required to ensure that patients are rapidly assessed and their nursing plan of care is documented, communicated, implemented and evaluated at regular interals during the patients stay. The nurse will ensure that any concerns, issues or conditional changes are escalated early to ensure patient comfort and safety is maintained.
