We are looking for someone to join our friendly team who has an interest in administration to support the smooth running of various services, including the Primary Care Mental Health Team and support of a range of Clinical Services.

If you are organised, like working using your own initiative and would love to expand your knowledge in the areas that you will be supporting, then this opportunity is for you!

We are an expanding team so there will be potential for many learning opportunities.

The Administrator will support our Primary Care Mental Health Team and when required other Service Facilitators in the delivery of STHC Services and Programmes across South Tyneside.

This includes ensuring our appointments are carefully managed, appointment books are maintained, and patients are registered and booked in with the most appropriate clinicians.

You'd be suited to this role if you have high levels of personal commitment to facilitate the delivery of a patient focused service and have good problem-solving skills.

It's important that you can work well as part of a team as well as independently and have the ability to work using your own initiative to deliver our business objectives

The role will be based at Monkton Hall's Bedewell office in Jarrow.

JOB PURPOSE

Provide day to day administrative support to the Primary Care Mental Health Team.

Act as an initial point of contact for patients who are attending the for planned face-to-face appointments and visitors to the building.

Responsible for the monitoring and management of patient appointments and clinics on the clinical system to ensure a high-quality service is provided to patients responding to queries/issues as they arise.

Responsible for the provision of the day-to-day admin support to the Primary Care Mental Health Team.

Management of the booking system for consulting rooms and MDT/group space to ensure fair usage across the team.

Support the development of new and improvement office systems and procedures.

Attendance at training and meetings as and when required.

Any other general administrative tasks/duties as required, including providing to admin support to other areas of the service/organisation as/when required.
